This is a lovely light and airy flat, well insulated due to double glazing and good gas central heating (boiler replaced in 2013). It has almost panoramic views of London, from Wembley to Canary Wharf and beyond; great transport links, being only 100m from Brixton Hill for buses in either the direction of Brixton (tube and train station) or Streatham Hill (train station) both just less than a mile away. Buses run every few minutes day and night in both directions. Both are walkable in 15 minutes or less. The flat is at the top of block 6 of 9 set in a secure, safe, gated compound with video security intercom entry system, parking available on the roadside, inside the compound or, for an additional cost in the secure underground carpark as required. The walnut-varnished wooden floors make the living areas practical and easy to clean, as do the tiled floors in the kitchen and bathroom. The newly laid, thick, lined carpet in both bedrooms add extra comfort warmth and reduced noise under foot. I have had almost 12 wonderful years in this flat and am reluctant to leave the great views, sense of psychological space being so high up with such great city and sky views, easy access to the city by public transport or car (and close to major routes in all other directions including the South circular just a few hundred metres away). The only reason I am selling is because I am expecting my first child and would prefer to live closer to my family in the suburbs.
